Bink36: a massive tenant building with an incredible variety of different kinds of businesses.
Bink36 is one of the biggest and most notable business tenant buildings in The Hague. The building itself used to be home to the Dutch postal service, its location – right by the train tracks coming into the city – was ideal for a time when mail was still delivered by train from Amsterdam. Even the iconic Dutch red mailboxes were produced right here in the building. The two separate buildings that comprise Bink36 were joined together sometime after WWII, and are now connected via a series of walkways and a central area home to a large parking space.
And now Bink36 is home to an incredible amount and variety of businesses and entrepreneurs. Everyone is encouraged to make their unit their own through customization, something that even the owner of the building – whose offices are located on the premises – has signaled, by customizing his own space much in the way he envisions the tenants to.
What management also envisions is for businesses within Bink36 to make use of the many services that their colleagues and co-tenants offer. With this in mind the variety of different kinds of businesses immediately becomes an inspiring wealth of potential cooperation partners. In the words of the owner: ‘Anything you need to make it, we offer. Bink36 is like a small, self-sustaining village.’
