Mooof: A huge business center for any entrepreneur in the fields of dance, movement, music and sports.
Mooof, a business center located at the edge of town – in the bustling Binckhorst area – is surprising in the sense that it’s much, much bigger than the relatively modest facade belies. Around one hundred and fifty companies have settled in this building, which used to be the headquarters for the Royal Dutch Air Force.
The four pillars of the Mooof concept are Dance, Sports, Music and Movement. Companies are assigned to one of these four, provided they fit with them in the first place, as synergy between tenants is deemed core to the Mooof ecosystem. The on-site community manager is partially responsible for bringing people together.
There are a few congress halls on-site, but the bread and butter of Mooof is in providing office space to a variety of companies, that in the current configuration include a crossfit gym, an on-site restaurant (Loïc, link naar site), music studios, escape rooms, an artisinal piano craftsman and many more.
The goal for Mooof is to provide space to a variety of tenants, and to have them interact with one another. ‘The dream’, in the words of the community manager, ‘is to have a musician work here, who then finds someone to record his music video in this building, and afterwards they all go out for some food at Loïc and some crossfit.’
