Nassauparc: a business centre with a rich history and up-scale facilities, situated in one of the monumental neighbourhoods of the city
Nassauparc is a business center with a rich history. The building dates back all the way to 1850, when it was built in service of King Willem II, to serve as housing for his officers during the Napoleonic Wars. The whole street in the Willemspark area is built in the Oxford-style, the idea instilled in Willem II from his time studying in England.
This rich history is tangible in the interior, with several authentic details maintained as dictated by the buildings’ status as a National Monument. The four floors (including a basement) house around twenty office units of varying size as well as five meeting rooms, one of which is rather large, and two of which are exclusive for Nassauparc tenants’ use.
The law offices and other corporate service-oriented businesses that settle on the top floor all enjoy a magnificent, unobstructed view of the city, and throughout the whole building the up-scale nature of this location shines through. The neighbourhood, then, houses many restaurants, coffee places and small shops, and is one of the most pleasant districts the inner city has to offer.
